I hear I can get these in Goldenrod. Are they expensive? Are they universal or also separated by type sets?

Not every Pokemon can learn every move. I have noticed that they do tend to be separated by type and some times size. A tiny weak Pokemon wouldn’t be able to learn ‘Strength’ for instance.

At first I was very confused by all of this, but now… it is actually pretty nice here. Not that I still wouldn’t like to return to what I was in the middle of before I arrived, but this has been a peaceful vacation from that.
How about you? Or are you still so new that you haven’t formed an opinion of Johto yet?

It's a pretty easy to get comfortable here. It just also likes to continual surprise you.
So far, I find it interesting and lots of opportunities to explore and have a bit of fun. [He says it innocently enough, but he means more than adventures of camping and pokemon battles. Oh, the possibilities...]

Not a breeder. [He really wasn't into taking care of anymore baby Pokémon than he already had.] But I'm quite interested in challenging these Gym Leaders. Have you had any luck yourself? Earned any badges?

Not yet. Every time I get close to that first Gym something seems to happen to keep me from going inside and taking the gym leader on. I know he uses bird Pokemon though. As long as nothing else comes up I should have an advantage against him.
