love shouldn't only be manifested through material things... they fool you into thinking that something is there when in reality, it isn't.

obviously, whoever wrote this doesnt know me very well because if they did they would know that i dont need material things to show or give love. my friends went all out because they wanted to show they cared and be full of suprises. they knew i wasnt expecting any of that and did it because of that. my friends and i have so much love in our friendships that if we spend a million dollars or two dollars on our gifts it doesnt matter. i mean really...sometimes being able to go all out for a friend feels good.

Balloons, cakes and flowers arent really a bunch of material items anyways.

dont rain on my parade to make me think anything but the greatest about my friends and my birthday. and please dont comment on my journal...especially if you arent going to leave your name.
