I'm getting used to UM and I'm trying to enjoy my time there. The school really isn't all that good of a fit for me so I'm trying to get involved to make it a good fit. I'm hoping it's just because this is my first year here after transferring from FIU but I'm not so sure. The classes are OK but I feel stressed because of the insane exam schedule I

Hey Ally, good to see you're back on LJ (although it took me a while to cotton on, as usual...). Congrats on all the developments in your life, and here's to wishing you and John even more of the best! Good luck with the job, don't let it drive you any more insane. Good luck with uni and everything, too - I feel your pain with assignments and things, and I am dreading exams at the end of semester. I did some anthropology in my first year, I'm thinking about doing some more next year, too =)

There's a lot going on for me right now and I keep forgetting to do important things. I need to write everything down now...I feel a little old. :P

I know! End of semester exams are scary because, at least for me, they're all cumulative. I just think, "You mean I need to go back and read my notes and the key topics from chapters we did in September? What about the 15 chapters we've covered since then!?" *shakes head*

I had my first night of work last night! I got 2 people to commit to giving and one who wanted us to send him something in the mail. I worked from 5:45 until 9...and spoke with about 50 people. Ah well.
