Whoa, okay.. You're so incredibly patient and such a wonderful person, why can't your mother see that? Especially when she's looking between you and Rachel! My dad's solution was to take my sister out to lunch and ask her about her hopes and dreams. He thinks that if I understand her, she won't explode like this again. I'll do it eventually because he asked me to but lately I've been avoiding the house. My uncle is in town and that's another reason for me to avoid it - my uncle favors Rachel and doesn't like me. I think it's because Rachel reminds him of his daughter and my cousin and I have never gotten along.
Oh. Okay. That's very gentle. Hmm, do you think this approach is going to work? I suppose there isn't much you can do except try... All the best and I hope all these rogue members of your family come to realise what a gem you really are=) Although it really begs the question.. why in the world do they all seem to favour Rachel? Just a thought of mine.. I can't seem to fathom it.
