i was talking with jack on the phone last night. we were trying to figure out what we are because we arent dating but we are more than friends. we both made it obvious that we like each other (now thati think about it, he wasnt so obvious as i was) but he said he is scared about the future and how it might make us drift. i'm so pissed by that

nah, worrying about just being friendns and things not working out is a good idea, it can get very awkward and distant if they dont work out because you two were only meant to be friends

So, you finally told him how you truly felt? Or did he already know? I agree with you, I would rather want to know about where one stands, then just waiting and wishing (like that Jack Johnson song). If you feel guilty, then I think you should tell him that as well, and that you just want to let him know how you feel, which you should be doing.
