Why I loathe the Opera

So, this year, the Seattle Opera is doing Pagliacci for the first time in like 25 years. It runs from Jan 12-26, and the company I work for (Pagliacci Pizza) is providing the food for Family Day matinee on Jan 20. I was thinking of volunteering to serve that day, and maybe catch the show

Awwh! The San Francisco Opera! My dad had season tickets, took me to a couple. The best one (imo) was Der Rosenkavalier. I think thats how they spell it. *blinks* But, then, of course SF would rock at an Opera about cross-dressing.

If you could actually watch the opera, and not have to serve the entire time, it could be fun. *shrugs* But if there's no performance for you, just a lot of whiny rich white people drinking their white wines and bitching about your pizza being too cold and too hot... then, well, a day off sounds kind of nice. ;)
