My sister in laws son my nephew has been put on the at risk register. My SILs boyfriend beats her up and has done for 2/3 years. She is now 8 months pregnant. Her son from her previous relationship lives with his dad in the week and her at the weekend. They are having lots of meeting with social services about it. They want to talk to me as her

I would think that they would HAVE to be confidential esp if it's in that type of situation. Plus they're professionals and prob. do this type of stuff daily, as sad as that thought is. I think that you're absoutly right in telling everything that you know and it's your responsibility to also. You should be proud of yourself for stepping up. Alot of people wouldn't. They would just sit back and let a little kid and a pregnate woman get beaten and not saying anything b/c after all, "what could they do?". Very proud. You are doing the right thing, no matter how hard.
