Baby chub

May 15, 2007 17:50

I'm having a hard time getting rid of my preganacy chub. My sister calls me Tub o' Lard=( and I really want to work it off. I know I can't lift anything heavier than Noah but I can do some stuff. How do I loose my baby fat?

how old is baby? are you breastfeeding? I breastfed my daughter and I was back down to my normal size in 1 month.

my son is 7 months, breastfed and i still can't fit my pre-preggo jeans. MOST women take at least a year to work it off. think of it this way...it took almost a year to put it on, so it makes sense to take just as long taking it off. rapid weight loss is not good when breastfeeding your child, neither is dieting. both can harm the quality of your milk. working out is fine, but you should wait until 6 weeks post partu to make sure your body is healed. get the
"ok" from the doc and try excersizing, start off easy and gradually increase when you feel ready. you still need the same caloric intake as when you were pregnant, but make sure it is good calries. fruits, veggies, lean meats, milk!

don't stress too much and take it easy, your body just went through one of the most strenuous things you'll ever experience...and tell your sister to shut her trap. lol

I've told her something but it wasn't as nice as that!
I'm trying to take it slow. Not being able to do stuff ( i don't work out, I'm just super active) is driving me crazy!
