I hate to tell you this, but some babies are just really high energy. I know of two 2-year-olds off the top of my head who still don't sleep through the night. I have never tried camomile tea, so I don't know if that would help any.

My daughter is 14 months old and still gets up like that every night. Your daughter is only 5 months old, she is still so tiny, she probably is hungry and/or wants to be cuddled.

Co sleeping is not for everyone. A lot of people think it helps calms babies but as a child of the family bed, I just had problems sleeping by myself until I reached 7. I wouldn't get a child into the swing of being in your bed if the child already isn't.

I asked one of the nurses at the hospital (i kinda live in the hospital, I have a high risk pregnancy and have been here for two weeks and will be here for another four) and she said mixing some cereal in the babies bottle or mixing breast milk in cereal before the baby goes to bed may help the baby sleep through the night and make the baby feel fuller.

also dont give children anything herbal because they aren't FDA approved. if you are going to try things like teas, ask your pedi first.
