kaong (Sugar Palm)
macapuno (Sweetened Cococnut strips)
langka (jackfruit)
gelatin (cut into small cubes)
nata de coco
ube halaya (purple yam)
scoops of your favorite ice cream (preferably ube, and or cheese) *optional
kidney beans *optional
garbanzos (chick peas)
sago (there's no direct translation to this, so check Mr. Google, LOL)
crushed ice
evaporated milk
condensed milk *optional

The ingredients can all be bought from oriental stores. :) If there's a Filipino store near by.. ALL THE BETTER. Haha.

PLUS. IT'S HEALTHY AND ALL NATURAL. Maybe except the ice cream :)

=D

Key is, you add more of what you want to taste more. It's really up to you. If you do it the traditional way, just don't make another ingredient over power the others. Example, don't put too much jackfruit because jackfruit has a strong taste and smell. :) But really, it's all up to you. ^^

I looked up the ingredients I didn't know (thank you Wikipedia XD)

Kaong seems like it'll taste similar to sugarcane (OMGAH I MISS CHEWING ON SUGARCANE STALKS T___T)

kidney beans

... I'm as culinary adventurous as the next person but I think I'll stick to my kidney beans in my rice LOL

GARBANZOS! I love garbanzos, they're so awesome, and that name is better than chickpea. It's neither a chick nor a pea, so why give it that name :P

They compared sago to tapioca so I can at least imagine what it would taste like

Otherwise, yeah, it sounds good, and like a healthier ver. of raspao, which consists of:

Shaving ice old school in a paper cup

Totally. Haha. :)) Garbanzos sound yummy. People might think chickpeas actually look like chicken. >_> Or that's just me. LOL.

I'd like to have a taste of Raspao. We have that version here.. Different.. But yeah.. Haha. I SAY IT'S ALMOST THE SAME BECAUSE I DON'T LIKE CONFUSION. =))
