I just watched it at your suggestion. I WANT to like it, but it looks like they changed it a lot from the book...maybe in some ways that will make it work better as a movie, I dunno?

Also, it makes me really wary that they filmed it like two years ago and are only now releasing. Originally it was meant to be an Oscar contender, I think, and now they're marketing it like a chick flick...I always thought it could be more than that....I am confused about this one.

Rachel McAdams looks SO gorgeous, though!

What are your thoughts??

man, i know. im going to see it, but it kind of bugs me? there are little hints that make me feel like its going to be a bad movie. like when he asks her to marry him adn she says 'no......I DIDNT MEAN THAT AHAHAHAH'
i was just like...wait, what? i read the book, and that didnt translate to me.

rachel mcadams is so full of pretty, man.

but yeah, i dont know. im not letting myself get too excited, cause i feel like it wont meet expectations. i hope they keep a lot of the darkness, and dont just make it exactly like 'the notebook II'
