*hugs* to all of you. I lost Annabelle a few months before Bob and I got married, and it will be two years in June she's been gone, and I still look for her every time I crack an egg in the kitchen. There's just something so special about our little calicos and tortis.
I know that it will be hard on the Boy. I don't know if you know it or not, but maybe getting him a copy of the rainbow bridge poem might help? Keep it with her ashes maybe?
Thank you for the hugs. This has been a long day, and we are all wandering about, trying to find what is lost. I'm telling myself (and knowing that it is true) that it will be better when we leave this place. A new place with no knowledge of her.
Thanks for the reminder of the rainbow bridge poem. I'll read it to him tonight.
Thank you for the hugs. They are the best thing today. Luckily our cats Nulu and Nolo are being extra affectionate today, doing their best to share in the comforting.
The best part about giving a hug is that you get one back.
