katie vollmer who i havent talked to for like 5 years!!! this is joe kersch!

lately i started reading your journal, and obviously things have been pretty rough for you. granted i know practically none of the people you are talking about on here, but it does seem that they are all badmouthing eachother and you and your relationship and thats just wrong. i figured i needed to say something because recently i've been dealing with a "friend" of mine who cant seem to accept that i am closer friends with two of my favorite people than i am with him--simply because they are girls. the situations are sort of different (yours seems much worse), but my point is that we both seem to have suddenly been placed in a situation where we feel betrayed, and are both angry and confused over what to do. i just wanted to let you know that YOU ARE NOT ALONE! i hope you get through this, and i'm sure you will with the support of the people who are really backing you.

Hi Katie, I'm sure you completely don't remember me... I'm Noel, I took oboe lessons with Tim Clinch back in the day, and I worked with you one summer, who knows how long ago? How I found you on here is really random -- sort of through a trail of Web sites/live journals of concord grads (Shaun Gallagher to Jane Lim to Corey Leigh to you) and when I was randomly checking out people on Corey's list (this is what happens when I should be writing a paper...), I was like, "Wow, that's Katie Vollmer who plays the oboe!" Anyway, I now have a degree in music education, and I'm in graduate school getting my master's degree in communication. So, if you ever wanted to talk or need any advice, I'm here! And, one way or another, I just wanted to say hi and that I'm adding you to my friends list (despite the fact that I rarely use my live journal) and you can add me if you want!
