The whole school is busy preparing for the dance night which is tonight. Some are making streamers while the others is setting up the venue. I can see that they're really making it beautiful.
" Hey Wookie! Are you excited for tonight? Its your first time to celebrate it. "
" Oh, hi Donghae. Your voice is back! hmm, yes i am. "
" Yeah, it just came awhile ago. hehe "
Our conversation is followed by silence as we look at the busy students. Our dorm has the privilege of not helping out because we won the two contests. Donghae and I were startled when Yesung suddenly spoke out of nowhere.
" Its gonna be fun tonight for everyone else except for a certain person.. "
" Huh? and how do you know about that? "
" My spirit friends told me. "
The atmosphere suddenly become chilly and spooky.. Gosh. This guy is really scary when he's saying things like that. Donghae suddenly hugged me tight as we both felt uncomfortable.
" Ugh, I remembered that we're going to fix some streamers Yesung.. Bye! " Donghae said as we ran away from Yesung. Before we got really far, I heard Yesung shouting at us
" Yah! Wait for me! "

We are now gathered here at the fields. Its around 6pm in the evening so its pretty dark. I can only see the stars sparkling up in the sky. I wonder why there weren't music and lights yet.
" Hey Yesung " Yesung, who is standing beside me turned his head to my direction while raising his brows. " Do you really celebrate this dance night without lights? "
" Are you kidding me? Of course not! Just wait and you'll see. "
So like he said, we waited. You're wondering why i'm with him right? Well, me too actually. After running away from this man this afternoon, Donghae suddenly said that he got something to do so that leaves me with Yesung. As for my other friends, I don't know where are they. As if heavens heard my prayer, Kyuhyun approached us.
" Hey Ryeowook and Yesung. "
Just then, we heard Heechul hyung's voice speaking or should i rather say shouting.
" Hey yo yo yo! Are you guys ready? " the crowd cheered so am i. " Okay then! Let's do a countdown! 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, YAH! COUNT WITH ME PEOPLE! 5, 4, 3, 2, 1! "
Then the lights went on. Wow. The decorations is soo awesome. There are streamers everywhere and lanterns. There is a big bonfire at the middle of the dance floor. I was marveling the beauty of the surroundings when suddenly a blast of loud music knock me out of my thoughts.
There at the dance floor are 3 dancers wearing masks. They dance so gracefully! We watched them as they did their final dance move. Everybody applaud once they're done.
" Hoot hoot! Let's all clap for my dorm buddies! Donghae, Eunhyuk and Kibum! " Heechul hyung said through the big microphone. Wait, did he just said my friend's names? The three dancers then removed their masks as they made their way towards us. Its really them. Wow! I must say that they all dance so well but Hyukkie really stands out among them.
" Hey Wookie! Did you see that? I dedicate that dance just for you. " Hyukkie said as he put his arms around me.
" R-really? "
" Yeah! " I was about to thank him when the DJ for the night which is again Heechul hyung shouted that the Dance night has officially started. Hyukkie then grabbed my hand and lead me on the dance floor.
DANCE FLOOR. DANCE.
I gulped as Hyukkie started to dance with me. Omo. I decided to just go with the flow. Hyukkie seems to sense the awkward atmosphere so he grabbed both of my hands and swayed me.

I think its been an hour already since Hyukkie dragged me on the dance floor and now i'm right here, seating at the table with Kyuhyun. My legs hurts so as my back. Dancing with Hyukkie is fun but at the same time, tiring. I was busy rubbing my sore legs when Kibum went to our table with an ice cream.
" Hey Ryeowook, tired already? " he asked with a smile.
" Yes. I didn't know that Hyukkie is such a dance freak. "
" Oh well, him and Donghae has been dancing like forever. " he replied before eating his ice cream.
We sat there watching the crowd dance. You can easily spot Yesung as his dance moves are really funny. He seems to enjoy the attention around him. I then looked at Kyuhyun. He seems to be bored all this time.
" Hey Kyuhyun, don't you wanna dance? "
" No. "
" Why? "
" Just because. "
Sheesh. This guy is so moody. Just a while ago he's nice and now he's so cranky. Just then, the bg music changed from pop to a slow one. The one you hear during romantic scenes in tv. I looked at the dance floor and almost everybody is dancing slow like partners.
" It happens all the time. There's nothing new with that. They're just going with the flow. " Kibum said.
" Ohh. I see. " right then, i saw Hyukkie coming towards my way. Oh no, he's not going to dance with me right?
" Hey Wookie! Wanna- " his sentence was interrupted as Kyuhyun suddenly grabbed my hand and lead me to the dance floor.
" Sorry he can't. " he said to a stunned Hyukkie.
We arrived at the dance floor. He put his hands on my waist and started to sway me. I'm so sure right now that my cheeks is burning red.
" I thought you don't want to dance.. " i shyly said as i put my arms around his neck.
" I really don't.. but if its with you, i'm fine with it. " his words made me blush harder. Did he really just said that? I looked up at him and he returned it with a smile. Omo. I can really die right now.
What they didn't know is that someone is hurting inside as he watch his bestfriend dancing with his friend. Yesung then whispered to Donghae " Told you. My prediction is right. " Donghae seems to agree so he just nodded his head. Oblivious to their friend's stare, the kyuwook couple danced their night away..
