I'm slightly closer to civilization now since I've returned from Alabama. It was a good trip, and the family is pretty much the same as it ever was. I had to sleep at my Nana's house instead of Maw-Maw's, since Maw-Maw is now in an Assisted Living Center and cousin Eric is using her house until he can find a new job. Unfortunately, Nana's house

She'd run into the room, yell, get closer to the bed, yell some more, jump up and down on the bed yelling, and finally just yell right in my ear. My hope that she'd give up and go away was never realized.
