I am updating.

I am bored here.

And I feel like I gotta do something about it.

I am going to get some education and continue on with my career.

How long can you do this for? I mean 6 years is pretty long even though there is security in it.

I'm beyond the entry level job market.

Everyone except for 2 people that were hired a few years after me is OLDER.

Or half of them have worked with my boss for over TEN years or more or has some kind of history with him.

My main project this year got totally axed.

I applied for 6 jobs yesterday with the resume I have.

I'm just bored. I'm not challenged.

And I don't get paid enough to take the vacation days given to me and actually go somewhere.

So why keep them?

Yay! It is always good to continue one's education and career. I am looking around at my online options, and after the rush of the holidays is over, I am going to attempt to continue and finish my education in a new field.

I wanted to go into the Computer field, but I noticed the work is being undervalued more and more. Going into education is great because you can't outsource students, and if they in-source teachers, everyone will be competing on an equal level. The computer field is becoming such that you have to be a contractor rather than an employee.

Look to study online and, if you do so, make sure the educational organization has traditional on-ground courses as well.
