I was overseeing the installation of a new heat treat furnace this weekend... talk about a pain in the ass. I had to work 12 hours on sat and 12 hours on sunday and we still aren't ready to startup.

...until you get glasses and every time you take them off you're reminded of how damn blind you are.

Yesterday was fun... I got my eyes checked and got new glasses. While they were making the glasses I had a few margaritas in the bar. Dilation eye drops + alcohol + glasses = a fun experience kind of reminiscent of hallucinogens.

It was Laura's Dad's Birthday on saturday so we went to Spencer's a nice steak house in town... WOW. It was only the second time in my life I've had a 30 dollar steak and it was worth it.

I'm thinking of challenging myself for lent this year by going vegetarian... we'll see how it works out.

My first big project is coming to fruition, and all the parties involved seem to have a loose affiliation with time.

This morning I heard a quote that summed up my feelings on the superbowl refs really well.

"The last time I saw flags controlling that much action I was out at the Stateline Speedway!"

Fing cheaters. We sucked but I wish the refs could have been more impartial about pittsburg's screwups.

Boooh Yeah my diploma arrived at my grandma's house yesterday!

Of course life as a graduate sucks. I have to pay for lots of things and work every day. I'd much rather be in school playing video games and drinking except on the 15th and 31st of every month. (payday)

Senior Project is almost done, but the last part is the hardest.

Ok so hopefully all my careful planning works out good. Apparently by leaving on the 17th (tomorrow) I'm going to follow a warm streak all the way to SD.
