This is how you do it, baby...............
There are no pictures in this post because I'm too tired to upload them all tonight - but they will be posted tomorrow. I promise. I know.......you can't wait. My braids turned out probably the best they ever have! Go me.
First - the important thing:
First 3 - 66.286 - 1st place
First 4 - 67.778% - 1st place (and from a notoriously hard judge might I add).
We were Reserve Champion high score at first level.
The second place ride in First 4 was not even close to me - it was a 61.something% - *wOOt*.
Junior was FABULOUS - I could not have asked for him to be better - he was PERFECT.
And - it took us longer to get there than we had planned. I wanted to be on him by 2:25; we pulled into the Horse Park at 2:15. Ugh. SO much for my diddle daddling. I had to get myself ready and him ready in 10 minutes - and I was able to do it. Again, go me. (Dad helped, of course - he ran to check me in and get my number!)
But luckily I was able to design an abbreviated warm-up plan that worked great. He was soft. He was light. He was engaged. People were staring at us because he looked phenominal (as you will see in tomorrow's picture post).
