There are several people in my life right now whom I consider to be very close friends, and who truly are remarkable people. Yet I see them hang on to what is clearly, to almost any outsider, a crappy relationship. Doesn't anyone have any self worth now a days. It is absolutely paramount that you as an individual know what you are capable of

Can we be friends? I couldn't agree with you more. Not only do I see my friends go through it but I have allowed myself to put up with it. It's a terrible thing to be in a relationship where your not appreciated. The effort you put in should be matched by your partner.
