we have so many things going for us it seems almost like a dream to me, but when i kiss you it brings me back to reality and makes me remember that the best part about what we have is that it is all real. I love how we can talk about absolutely anything...

haha um.. i'm usually pretty good at analyzing poetry & what not, but this one makes no sense. its the equivalent of a salvador dali painting, in my opinion. good luck :)

I agree. Salvador Dali was one weird artist. Did you ever see that autobiography on him? We watched it in Spanish freshman year.

u are my savior. I still don't understand why Dickinson would love spring so much. Is it just the season and everything about it that she loves? Why is it so important to her? Thanks so much.

you're welcome, and i'm not sure why dickinson had these emotions. always remember that she was one f-ed up woman and that nothing she did makes sense. have you guys watched that video of the one woman acting out her life yet?

hmm well im not too great at this. but symbols are kind of my thing. remember in that movie we watched on her, how they said she had relationhships with men, but they never worked out because she was too afriad to leave home and blahh or something? well i think the "Robin" and "grass" symbolize men?

brian mckenney has this in our class, and him and Captian Carl had a discussion about this line: "The Queen of Calvary --". and they came to figure that it means she is the Queen of Suffering. Calvary & the bible & crucifiction & Jesus= suffering.

Hope i helped <3
