The store front's quiet, and Sungmin sits at the counter, watching the people on the street idly. Jungmo's sweeping up, occasionally bending to pick up fallen clips or combs, before Sungmin sighs.
"Your hair is terrible. You should let me fix it; I could put in highlights here, here and here, and maybe clip it short here for a statement or--"
Jungmo's clutching his hair defensively, and Sungmin realises he's pointing.
"No thank you," Jungmo says firmly, and his eyes dart around before he pulls on a beanie.
"No, really." Jungmo looks at Sungmin's hair, currently a pleasant, nondescript brown, and yeah, it's not bad, but then he remembers the candly floss pink, and platinum blond and, god forbid the one where he had shaved half his head. Half his head.
"You would look so good if your hair was just a bit shorter in the front -- can't see your eyes now, you know? And you'd look great with some highlights, not some bright ones of course because you're way too emo for that, but just some warm brown ones to bring out your skin and why are you looking at me like that?"
Jungmo blinks. Sungmin has the most adorable angry face on. Like he's trying but the cute factor won.
"Um." Jungmo's really articulate.
Sungmin sighs and rolls his eyes before he tugs some of his own hair before his eyes.
"I've never gone wrong, okay? Just trust me. As if this doesn't look good on me."
Jungmo only decides to trust Sungmin because he's on the side of the room with more pairs of scissors. And his aim is better than Jungmo's will ever be.
("It's not bad, right?"
"..."
"I didn't go with the highlights or shave half your head. You still have enough to gel into a J-rock style if you want."
"..."
"Fine, don't appreciate my masterpiece. See if I care."
"No, I'm kidding. I like it."

"Sure."
"Oh okay. Thanks would be nice."
