Looking back, did you write more fic than you thought you would this year, less, or about what you'd predicted?
I wrote.. actually now that I think about it, the amount I wrote wasn't surprising or anything, so I guess in between? It feels like a lot but when I look at them and that most of them are <1k, it doesn't feel like that much.
What pairing/genre/fandom did you write that you would never have predicted in january?
SNSD, 2PM, YGE (Taebin/Se7en), jaychul.
What's your own favorite story of the year?
Probably ORAEYO (take 2) and/or timetraveller!Heechul.
Did you take any writing risks this year? What did you learn from them?
I felt like this year my writing was much more telling, at least towards the second half the year. Um, risks taken while writing? I guess besides writing fandoms I hadn't written before, I kind of let go. At least I felt I did during ORAEYO (take 2) and timetraveller!Heechul.
Do you have any fanfic or profic goals for the new year?
Writing original.

My best story of this year:
Timetraveller!Heechul definitely. I think it was more tied together than ORAEYO (take 2) and talked more about himself rather than concerns about something else, like ORAEYO (take 2) did in regards to Hyukjae. The writing is most solid in those two pieces though.

Story of mine most under-appreciated by the universe, in my opinion:
Both olymfics - 'Science and Faith' and 'Breathe.'
Most fun story to write:
My birthday fic for Jeny! Writing, like, a whole Running Man episode was hard but oh so fun, just imagining everything hahahah. The moment where Minho catches Onew is definite my favourite though, it was so fun!
Story with the single sexiest moment:
I wrote no sexytiemz this year :(
Most "holy crap, that's wrong, even for you" story:
I think I stayed pretty vanilla this year -- don't think I had many bad things! Oh except themedpop, but that wasn't posted/completed, technically.
Story that shifted my own perceptions of the characters:
Breathe, for writing 2PM, and Science and Faith, for writing SNSD, definitely.
Hardest story to write:
Science and Faith, jfc, the like, last quarter of that was terrible to write, I really didn't like it and still don't.
Biggest disappointment:
All my unfinished ones (themedpop, Charisma Doll, kpop_rarepair...) I gave up a lot of good ideas and I regret it, but I also can't push myself to finish any of them :(
Biggest surprise:
I think just the fact I could write SNSD and 2PM to a decent extent hahahah. Otherwise, I don't think I had many surprises?
Most unintentionally telling story:
Breathe, and timetravelling!Heechul. Breathe has a lot of personal experiences in it related to smells, and what I associate with them, and timetravelling!Heechul just has ALL MY FEELINGS!!!!
