For Billy and Elijah it was lust at first sight. Green eyes, blue eyes, accents, bodies, laughs; Elijah kept blinking because one of his contacts was bothering him, and his lashes dipped and flickered and his forearm flexed as he rubbed at his eyelid.
"You're thirty? Really?" Elijah asked, voice climbing in a way that Billy improbably found enchanting.
"I am, yeah," Billy said. It was nice to speak to someone the same height, the same level.
Elijah smirked, "I'm older than you in the movie."
During the script meeting, he was smart and on the ball, and Billy told jokes that were warm and charming, and they smiled at each other across the table. The second week, they went to a bar.
"Is this even legal?" Elijah wondered.
"It's sixteen here, isn't it?" Billy asked. "Like home."
"Hey hey hey," beamed Elijah.
They slammed together just inside the door of Billy's blank new house.
"Maybe this," Billy panted into Lij's neck, "uh, you're,"
But Elijah just leaned back and smiled confidently, "Hey, man. Peter said you should do your best to help me out," and snickered.
"Well then. I'm good at taking direction," Billy concluded, and unbuttoned his shirt.
