Title: Imperfections
Fandom: Lotrips (AU)
Summary: Dom and Billy are android designers, Elijah's a programmer, and Ian puts up the cash.
Ratings/Warnings: Nothing here but some grown-up swears.
Notes: I think this is kind of a botched effort on my part, but I thought some of the robo-fascinated might like a look at it.

Ooo! I really like this; it has a lot of promise and I'm finding myself not only curious about the progression of the project, but also about the world they live and work in. I love the Billy and Dom relationship and Dom's mixed feelings toward Elijah are perfect.

Without Elijah, what they're building would be nothing but a glorified Disneyland animatron. Originally, Ian codenamed the project 'Orlando' because that was all they were trying to accomplish.

*snickers* Love the reason for the name!

Thanks! I was hoping someone would like that bit about the name. I kept thinking about taking it out, but then I thought, no, surely someone will think that's as amusing as I did when I came up with it... :D

Ooooooh!!! Last I knew, Elijah was designing it, wasn't he? *confused, in a happy lovely way*

I love it (of course!), Dom-n-Billy and Ian's grand posturing and ruthless conferencing rethoric, the world you fleshed out with UAA and votes and borders to cross or not - that Elijah's irritating and isolated with his field/skill/temperament, the little prince. N'aw! *g*

And obviously, it's Orli, that's so cool. Dom working on Orlando's face and Elijah's desire to see it real.. The tension, yaye :D

I've had multiple sketchy robo-AUs. In one Elijah's the android designer, but that's the one where he built Dom. :D

I really really love this. I'm halfway through a re-read of Neuromancer, and this fits right in with The Turing Police and Straylight and I just love it. Amazing to me how you've changed the characters and yet they are still so identifiably themselves. And they're making Orlando! I totally believe that, btw.

Yaaaaay, Ces robofic! Oh Dom, stop frontin', no matter how spoiled Elijah is, you want his smart little ass. This was a joy to read, I love how the sci-fi elements were integrated in without the big "THIS IS AN AU" signs. Lovely!
