Excellent piece, though. I love the way it comes full circle at the end, and Elijah's calculation combined with the question about how it would have felt if.... And I love the way you work the three coins in. Very nicely done!

Thanks! It was interesting to write. Elijah is such an unreliable narrator, with his histrionics, manipulation and lies. I'm not sure myself if this encounter was really as horrible as all that...

This story has sucked me in. I'm afeared for Elijah's future (and equally fascinated/repelled by his character), but I can't stop reading.

That's wonderful to hear... I have to admit, I'm proud of this crazy twisted Elijah.

The next Joshua & Elijah scene was just waiting for the Andy/Elijah to go up, so I've posted it now.
