It is shocking, I know. *still slightly dead from the shock*
I've wanted a GS dog steadily and continually since I was about five. I probably wouldn't actually own one, even if I could have a dog (I'd have a Heinz 57 or at most a cross for dog-health reasons) but I do covet them. Hence I found Millie the GSx mega cute and wanted to steal her...
Aww, thanks very much! All is meandering along pretty well. No pressing complaints. Hope it's the same for you!
tbh I even missed the last Mr Derren televisual appearance completely, and my last forum post was probably about two incarnations back. 2006 maybe? I was disappointed not to still be around in DB fandom when the whole coming-out thing happened as I imagine there were some entertaining reaction posts. But I wish you all well! :D
Yeah I kinda suck, sorry. I tend to disappear off current-radars every couple of years and then feel guilty about never explaining where on earth I've gone. Thought I should really do at least a "hi... bye" post.
Hope you're all good though - from a quick checkup of the flist I saw you've got another +1 to be contending with! Time really does fly. I wish you all the best! :)
#3: OK, you must have been a triplet because I know we were separated at birth. I've been working with kids for 10 years now and the reason I stopped at the end of term last June was because I realized I hated them. Then I realized I didn't hate them per say, just their parents and the fact that I was watching 25-80 kids at any given time five days a week. Overload! So to save myself from hating kids forever I had to stop working with them =)
#15: I don't drive for this very reason. I can't drive well and I don't think I should risk my life & the lives of others because it makes my life more convenient to drive.
#23: I definitely keep tight-lipped, even with my friends IRL because I don't want to offend them or have them think I am attacking their views on a personal level. We can't help but be instinctively protective of our belief systems, even if there isn't one.
Crazy parents - tell me about it. A lot of my work is complaints from parents about childcarers, and some are so unreasonable in their expectations it beggars belief. Unless you're a certain type of person I thinking working with kids would cause kid-aversion very easily. (I even spent three summers working with ice cream and was quite put off that for a while. Tragic

3. (I wanted a German Shepherd dog)
So you've gone full circle then?
6. If I could cancel all soap operas (in the UK things like Eastenders, Coronation Street, Emmerdale, etc) I honestly would.
I'd back you up on that one!
12. I fail to follow this female with short hair = must be a lesbian thing. And anyway, ew - she’s my twin sister for goodness sake!
Ewwwww, twincest!
22. Hopefully the good type, who maintains personal hygiene and doesn’t throw cats at passers by while shouting incomprehensibly.
Yes, that would be preferable...
