I did this a while ago...it's somewhere in my journal most likely under memes. I think I read 20 some too. And I did the banned books too. I was amused by how many of the banned books I've taught.

*sighs* I'm trying to convince myself that I really do need to go out to the store today.

you're a bit of a rebel, aren't you?!

naaah, stay in :D I'm having a duvet day, because I deserve one. I had to cover for my manager yesterday, and ended up working an 8 hour shift with no beaks. *yawn*

Just a bit of a one. ;-) I'm not the black sheep of my family or nothing. (Sometimes I'm not sure what they object to more...the double set of pierced earrings in each ear, the tattoo, the fact that I had sex before marriage and then DIDN'T marry him...and seriously they don't know everything...)

I did end up going out and it actually was not as bad as I thought it would be. Considering it was the last Saturday before Christmas.

Evil evil shift! I hope things got a lot better, but I'm assuming no, especially since I haven't heard from you all week.

So I totally owe you like 2 or 3 emails...plus the icons...plus I don't even know what all. Except...we're leaving this afternoon on vacation. And I know I won't have internet for at least the first two days. So...I have to go out in a couple hours...and then finish packing. If I have time before I leave...I'm gonna send you a dropbox invite with a bunch of stuff in it.

Otherwise you'll get a huge email, file, etc as soon as I have internet again :-) with icons, ficcie and all sorts of

I sometimes wish I was a little more rebelious - the biggest thing my mum has to bitch about id the general untidyness of my room!

bah, nope it's been horribly busy. My dad picked me up on wednesday, but I still didn't get home til 10:45, and I was so tired I was basically crying. I ended up doing an extra 2 hours on thursday and friday too... *sigh* but I've got today (xmas) and boxing day off, so I'm just having a nice calm weekend.

I haven't taken the time to go through everything in the folder yet, but it looks amazing and I'm so excited!!!! thankyou so much!! I meant to tell you this in the email, but for some reason I didn't *frowns*

*glomps*

Merry Christmas, bb!

Only 6 out of 100? That's a bit sad, isn't it? I've read 46 of them (although a few not by choice, LOL).

it is a slightly worrying picture of our education system :S

not by choice? which ones did you not choose to read?

Well, the ones I had to read in high school and college - not that I didn't enjoy some of them but others? eh, not so much ;)

In high school I had to read Vanity Fair (snooooze), The Catcher in the Rye (&hearts), Lord of the Flies (&hearts) Hamlet (eh, I like other Shakespeare works more), To Kill a Mockingbird (loooove) and The Count of Monte Cristo (AWESOME).

In college I had to read The Great Gatsby (okay), Of Mice and Men (eh).

Hm. Interesting to see that my high school education was more literary than my college. LOL. Although a lot of what I read in college isn't on the list, plus a ton of it was children's lit and young adult novels for my elementary ed degree.

oh yeah, I know that feeling... I really liked Lord of the Flies the first tme I read it, but after we spent a month or so on it in year 11... I'm a pretty fast reader, so I must have read it 9 times, plus all the times we had to watch the films. Both versions. *sigh*

I don't know if I've ever mentioned that I think your job's awesome :)
