Heartbeat Chapter 3

Jul 05, 2010 20:31

It was a long time coming (because of the holiday) But I'm here with chapter 3.
I hope you enjoy this somewhat lengthy chapter.
Happy reading. :)

 "No..too flashy."
"Oh no, too conservative, what am I doing? Going out to tea with mother?"
"Too sexy."
"Hey, my name is Jun Matsumoto and I'm here to seduce you."
"THIS ISN'T WORKING!!!!" Shirt after shirt was thrown on the ground as I continued to stress over what I wanted to wear. What I wanted to WEAR of all things. I should be thinking of being on time and making sure Sho and I have fun. "I swear that I was a pansy in my past life." I sigh as I finally find a simple V-neck T-shirt to wear, "Wow, took me long enough." I take one look at the clock and realize that I took longer than I thought, I'm about ten minutes late. After throwing about every swear in the book out, I ran as quick as I could to the train station.

After getting through the after work maze to get on the train, and the stares from many grandmothers once I was actually on, I finally made it to my last stop. "I think I made a slight fool of myself, because really, who sees a man running through the streets at  eight in the evening?"
I finally reach the hopsital entrance, a heaving mess, and he's not even there. "WHAT?!? He got that mad? Well I guess that's expected when your la-" Suddenly, he comes into veiw, walking at a normal pace and smiling.
"Hi Jun. I'm sorry I'm late, I just got off my shift, and I wanted to change before we left." "I hope I didn't keep you waiting." He looks at me, concern etched on his face. "Are you all right?"
"No, no, I wasn't in a rush." "My labored breathing isn't really helping the cause." "You ready? I promise you'll have fun tonight." I can tell that he wants me to hold up to that promise, which I defintley will.

The place where I take him out to eat is a small cafe. It's one of those needle in the haystack type of places where you have to really look to find it. "I only go for the best." It's fairly empty beside the couple sitting in the back, and we decide to pick a seat up front.
"Ah. This place is very nice, thanks for taking me here Jun." he says as he takes his coat and scarf off, revealing a V-neck shirt.."WAIT V-NECK?!! Now I have temptation right in front of me. NO Jun, you can control yourself." I distract myself for a few minutes by looking aimlessly at the menu, and ordering something that I probably won't like. Not knowing that I'm in la-la land, Sho snaps me out of my reverie.
"So, Jun, tell me about yourself." He's slowly stirring his coffee and loking at me with expectant eyes. "You seem like a fun person."
"Ah" I chuckle, "You really think so? Well, I do like to have fun. I party a little at times when I want to relax."
"Ahh, I see." "Uh-oh, did I turn him off?" I nervously sip my iced green tea, which isn't that bad ,while I wait for his response. "I wish I could have fun." "Hm. that's interesting."
"What do you mean by that? You seem like an incerdibly popular guy. Everyone is probably begging to hang out with you!"
"Yeah, if you call top notch executives, and people of dignity fun." he sighs, looking out the window. "You don't know how many boring dinner parties I've been too in the past month. I can't even count.." he suddenly turns his head looking at me. "I feel like I can talk about this with you, Jun.' "Do you know any place where I can go and just., you know..relax and be free, if only just for a little while.
"The poor thing. he works works works, and doesn't have anytime to let loose. I want him to enjoy himself as much as possible." "Actually, I do know of a place where we could go. We could go now if you want." He suddenly perks up, sitting on the edge of his seat. "Really! Where? Of course I would want to go!" he's as giddy as a school girl now, and I can't deny him. "Let's go then." I cancel our orders and pay for our drinks as we head out into my "territory".

Sho goes wide- eyed once he reaches the club. "Uwahhhhh~ I've never been to a club before." "He's like a kid on Christmas morning." "I come here all the time when I want to relax." We step in, and immediately loud music and strobing lights wrap around us. Sho wastes no time with going to the dance floor. "Wait, the dance floor?! This could be really bad!" I go after him, and once I get there, he looks like a free bird, dancing around and enjoying himself. "He actually looks pretty good out there." I watch from the distance at the bar, where the bar tender wastes no time with asking me questions.
"So, this is your main squeeze now? The top doctor none the less."
"Hey. He has a name. It's Sakurai Sho, and I took him here to relax, not for a cheap fuck."
"Ohhh, okay, well you watch over him, so nothing happens, you know how those men get when they see a pretty boy on the dance floor."
"I know, that's what I'm doing right now." I continue to look on, but he's soon coming up to the bar.
"Hey Jun, come dance with me~." "What's up with this flirtatious mood?" There's no more time to think as he takes my hand and drags me onto the floor.

The music changes pace, and the dance floor is flooded with heavy base beats, even the strobe lights have begun to flicker more. We begin to dance pretty normally. "This feels nice, seeing a side of Sho san that I've never seen."  Before I know  it, his hands are around  my neck," "Wait..how did we get to this point so fast?" Then he's leaning in close to my ear. "You know, I've never let loose with anyone like this before, you might be the first Jun." He then begins to roll his hips on mine. "Woah, this feels weird, usally I'm the one to intiate this, but hey, not saying I'm not enjoying it, but I should show him how things are done." I spin him around, firmly wrapping a hand around his waist and begin to work my hips to the beat.  I can feel the stares on me, but we soon loose ourselves in the music too much to even care. He soon leans his head on my shoulder, "Ahhhnn, Jun, feels good." I chuckle in his ear as I run my hand down his chest and settle on  the inside of his thigh, slowly moving my hand up and down there too.  He moans louder in my ear, his breathless gasps adding to the mix which just make me hotter.
And then reality hit.
I with a man, a man whom I respect so much, and I'm doing the lowest things to him.
This is the man that I wanted to be "different" with.
And I'm still going with my same ways.
This isn't right, he doesn't deserve this.
He doesn't deserve me.
I quickly stop what I'm doing, and grab his hand. he's left a confused and flustered mess as I run out of the club with him.
"What- what's wrong?" "Are you Ok?" He looks at me, red faced and all, and I feel guilty.
Incredibly guilty.
"I-I'm so sorry. I shouldn't have done those things to you." "it's jus-"
"It's fine..I enjoyed mysel-" my heart feels like it's going to explode.
"No..You don't understand. I'm...I'm the worst. The worst kind of man."
"Jun..."
"Let's just pretend like this part of the night didn't happen." We say nothing as we head to the train station. We go in opposite directions as we head onto our trains. I heave a heavy sigh, and lean my head on the icy cold window, looking out into the chilly night.

"I'm the worst."
"The worst kind of man."
"Forgive me, Sho san."
