I like Jason Bay

But I am pretty sure he has never high fived a fan in the middle of a double play. We'll miss ya, Manny. Try not to be a jackass in LA.

Exactly this. And, with that, I'm taking your icon. *sigh*

It's a very awesome icon. It's him and the fans and the Super-Manny and :|

Oh, ManRam. We shall miss you in Boston.

I'm sad to hear he's leaving. Not surprised at all though.

I think I lost an hour at work today going like this - O_o - and reading every repetitive article out there.

Heh, me too! It makes me feel a little better to know that he's going to a good home with good fans... and will have lots of old friends to hang out with. ;) Hope he'll provide you with some entertainment (and, you know, run production) for the next three months, at least!

It's the end of an era.

It had to be done, but it's still going to feel weird without him for awhile, I think.

Yeah. I've actually been really terrible about watching games this year, so I'll probably turn the TV on sometime in September and be surprised to not see that luxuriant head of hair. :)

I splurged and ordered the fancy MLB cable package, so I've seen most of the games this year, although I'd gotten away from it over the past few weeks b/c I've had other stuff going on and not had the time/patience to sit in front of the teevee.

Bay made quite the debut last night, though. He might just be my new boyfriend.

Nice! We have the MLB.tv package... just haven't been watching that much. :( I am liking Bay (via box score) so far, though!

at the time, I felt worse about Nomah, but this HAD to be done.

now LA is bizarro baseball land with D-Lowe, Nomah and Manny being managed by Torre.

I think Frank McCourt is still collecting former Red Sox... I mean, he even picked up Grady Little when given the chance. ;)
