Really sweet piece, and very in character for Sherlock; i loved this little line:

"the knowledge that someone had chosen to touch him, sent a jolt into him.."
And i'm just so curious! What happened to Johnny boy? did he get hit by a bullet or some piece of debris?

The ending sounded quite real to me, the reasons why he doesnt have the faintest at what to do with his John-bleeding-to-death-in-front-of-him do seemed logical to me. Great job! =)

I was terrified of writing Sherlock because he's so damned logical and I'm much more of a John Watson (a romantic) but he's surprisingly obedient once I beat him into submission.

Er-- I mean, logically argued why he should listen to me.

Well, I think he got hit by a bullet considering in both stories there are two shots. One of them hits the bomb and I just assumed the other hit John somewhere in the back. Initially, I did it to give him a limp caused by nerve damage but the stories just aren't reaching to that recovery part right now.

:) Still, it could be debris.

As for Sherlock not knowing first aid, it just felt right to me. Why the hell bother with it? XD Anyway, glad you liked it.

Poor, dear Sherlock. He makes a friend then loses him. *pats him on the head* Or almost, rather. Psychologically, he's far more satisfying to twist into knots because he doesn't have the foggiest idea what to do with it.

Oooooo love it (just read both fics) and now I really want more. Love how well you write Sherlock's mind, the having no need to know first aid, the pink phone matching the blood. Fabulous fic!

Thank you so much. :) I figured that first aid would be one of those ridiculously obvious things that Sherlock wouldn't know which would, of course, lead to issues. :) I think he may take a class after this.
