Very nice. I like your portrayal of the Hive. Quite original. And leave it to Jim to be determined to help the very creatures that are killing him...

I actually also wrote an AU with Kirk getting attacked rather than Spock, though not nearly as poetic as yours. It was interesting to see this point of view. Great job!

Haha, :), well, I will go read yours, most definitely. This wasn't meant to be poetic (it rather took on a life of its own in the writing; and, seeing as it was written IN the comment window, it went unedited and unloved, too) but it stopped listening to me about midway and just wrote itself. Glad you enjoyed it, though.

Of course Jim would do that. :D He's just that level of good. :)
