Adorable! You balanced Tina and Mike's thoughts for each section very well, and gave them good character depth.

When she drew his name as a ballad partner, Tina didn’t know what to expect. Mike Chang, she was supposed sing a ballad to football player Mike? They had nothing in common, there was no way he’d ever understand her, and there was no way she was going to understand him. They were from two different worlds; this was a disaster waiting to happen.
THIS line was like, amazing, 'cause that is exactly how I imagine Tina would look at the situation.

Also, good job on getting this done before s2. Just squeezed it in before the premiere ;) I have a oneshot that is currently languishing away that I'm defs not gonna get done in time. Oh well! :)

I have been writing all day long. I was determined to get this done before season 2 started! I really didn't think I did and then the ending finally came to me. I think it took me so long because that was not how it was originally going to go, and I don't think they were having that. lmao

I know what you mean about characters taking hold of the story. Sometimes I'm just like 'let me write angst ok' and the characters are like 'nope, we're too cute and love fluff too much'. Oi :p

That was exactly it! The ending was originally gonna be super angsty, and kind of depressing and they were just like really? Do you not see how in love we are and how miserable tina is with artie? LET US HAVE THIS.

ABOUT FREAKING TIME I CAN FINALLY READ THISSSSSSSSSSSSSS. AND YOU ARE SUCH A FREAKING CHEESEBALL. I love you for it, though. And this! I have to say it was well worth the wait... all four months of it. Worth all the TEASING about it, too! There are so many parts I want to be all asldkjfldjf over, but my brain is all mushy right now, so I'm going to point out the two moments that made me laugh. First, Mike thinking there'd be a hit put out on him and second, "... but perfect was overrated…just don’t tell Rachel he said that." I SNORTED. Oh my gosh, anyway. If you hadn't posted this at an obscene hour, you would have gotten a far more articulate comment, BUT THAT'S WHAT YOU GET, ALRIGHT?

LMAO THOSE WERE TWO OF MY FAVORITE LINES. I was like LULZ I is a funny B. I still can't believe you stayed up to read it all, BUT I'M GLAD YOU LIKED IT. That seriously was not how it was going to end. But they were not having the angsty ending I had planned. I think that's why I had so much trouble finishing. I should know better than to fight the voices in my head, they always win.

So I caved in with that .. that thing .. called .. sleep, but when I got home I was like "MIKE TINA TINA MIKE GLEE FANFIC READ GO" so I did just that and I finished it and oh my gaah I think I forgot how to love anything but Mike and Tina because they are just so adorable and need to make Asian babies together and this story was so cute and I loved how he said 'I love you' because that was the best timing ever without it being corny but still cute and when he cupped her face and wiped the tears there was a big chance that I might've peed in my pants if I didn't just pee 10 minutes ago and DONE
