Ugh. It's funny how I can read each of these arguments and classify them as various instances of what NOT to do when trying to make a valid argument. Stuff I learned in 8th grade. For instance, the assumption that allowing gay marriage will lead to other "unconventional" marriages (like polygamous marriages, people marrying their pets...) is a slippery slope. It may seem like a valid argument, but there's a big difference between gay marriage and those other kinds (plus, I don't feel polygamy is wrong if everyone involved is consenting anyhow).
And honestly, I only read so far before I started to feel sick. How can people actually think like this?
