Placeholder comment! I am still here, and I'm always so, so, so, so, so excited to see a post and/or comment from you, Nat. It's after midnight and I still have to fold laundry and take out the trash and then work tomorrow, so I'll be back to comment in full.

Have to second what movablefilm said. I, too, have been super absent from this place for months but came back to do my end-of-year survey, and I was so happy to see an entry from you. I'm bummed we never crossed paths at UF or when we both lived in South Florida because you are just such an awesome human that I feel like I really relate to and would have loved to have as part of my friend group to hang out with.

I'm totally with you on pretty much everything. I still don't have my life together at 27; I work a decent job that drives me crazy from terrible management and lack of efficiency; and 2016 was generally shitty for me too. Here's to 28 and 2017 being better for us both! <3

Oh my God, I suck. I meant to come back here five days ago to comment properly. Sheesh.

I turned 31 last year (whut) and I'm still waiting for the "get yer shit together" thing to happen. I feel ya. (I'm sure you will actually get your shit together long before you turn 31, just fyi.). Happy belated birthday, though!

That's great news on the job - congrats! I know it's not in the field you want, but you never know where it might lead you one day. Further congrats on the non-profit! I'm glad you've got something on the side that you're passionate about. What sorts of things are you involved in as a board member?

I was in New York in October - when were you there? I went over to see my sister and nieces who are living there and thoroughly enjoyed it. I got to see a lot of the sites and being able to spend time with my family (and celebrate my nieces' 4th birthday to boot) was especially great. Got any travel plans for 2017?

I miss blogging, too. I actually created another account (thejellicoe) in an effort to get back into it and sadly, have ( ... )
