I'm really sorry about what happened with Alexis. No words that can help, really. My story is different, but extreme heartache has been a pretty common and debilitating part of my narrative the last few years too, and nothing seems to fully ease it. I hear you, understand you, and empathize completely on that.
FYI - Not sure exactly where you're based in South Florida these days, but I live by myself in Fort Lauderdale, work from home, and see almost no one. I know it's been a long time, but if you ever want company or a hug, I'm happy to become an in-person friend too. <3

I'm terribly sorry to hear about your sex and his miserable behavior. That sounds like an incredibly hard situation, but I'm glad you're here to talk about it. Finding out the truth about your friends group is a blessing wrapped in a curse; it's painful to realize, but a relief in the long run. I've learned a lot about friendship and boundaries over the past several years.
