They weren't going to be able to be transferred for 4 weeks, as of a few days ago, but they've made so many leaps and bounds that they're actually set to go to the hospital near their parents' home as of today! I am so glad to hear things are going okay with the babies. How are you recovering from the C-section?

So far so good! I keep forgetting to take my med (baaaad choice) and that gets me feeling worn out. But other than that, I'm WAY more comfortable and far along than I thought I'd be. I can roll over (and fetch, jk) in bed at night without feeling like I'm going to tear in two. I can cough and laugh and all that good jive. My steri strips and staples are gone and I'm feeling way better without the steri's for sure. Yay!!! Thanks for asking :)

It took me longer to recover from the C-section for sure than from the vaginal delivery. I had one of each. It really too me three weeks or more to start feeling normal again, but you will get there. Take care of yourself. I am amazed at how calm you seem through all of this. You are an inspiration. I have always been interested in surrogacy. I did a paper on it in high school---20 years ago. So thanks so much for sharing your experience.

All I can say to those interested in surrogacy is that interest in such a thing is rare. If it interests you, maybe your heart (and womb) are telling you something! Go for it! Any questions that you have I'd be happy to answer (ie: allow me to talk you into it lol, peer pressure!)

Seriously! After the vaginal deliveries (of much larger babies) I was up and moving, high as a super excited kite, and just a little sore. This time around is definitely tougher. I have NO IDEA why women sign on for these electively.
