Logan v Apollo
Just finishing up a marathon of Season 2 Veronica Mars, and Battlestar Galactica second half of S2.
Spoilers follow:
Apollo or Logan? Hmm. There's enough love to go all around. Apollo is a bit too much of a pretty boy, but it's hard to resist a man in a uniform. Did they really have to make him all pudgy in the last episode? As for the last episode, waaay too much time was skipped over. I resent the missed opportunity of savoring them going through the transition to planetside living. I mean I get that they had to change it up: the old model of "OMG, we are getting chased through space" could get tired, but to fast forward so much. Even so, I still trust in Ron to come through. I'm looking forward to: evidence of Baby being SuperBaby, planet Humans fighting with BSG Humans about how to fight the Cylons, and The Prez & the Commander coming through yet again. I'll be pissed if they stay planetside too long - i signed up for a traditional SciFi, ya know? and that means spaceships.
VM: so evil Duncan! love the unexpected twist. so does this mean he done it, and remembers doing the evil murder deed? i had a clue about Beaver (the whole can't have sex thing) but still enjoyed the heartbreaking scene on the roof. Logan coming to V's rescue - so awesome. He knocks the shit out of all his scenes. But no more nerd love now that MyNameIsCassidy! offed himself. I loved that whole poor abused kid brother/nerd thing he had going - sort of Sethlike. And who elses' heart went out to Abuela Weevil when Weevil got arrested? (I love how no one blinked at the graduation over that). So we leave things with: 1)Weevil in jail for Thumpers death 2) V stuck at the aiport because Keith learned about ?? from Kendall 3) Duncan on a beach - SoAmerica if i remember right. DummDaDumDumDum... what's gonna happen??
