Ok, so I'm FINALLY home from the hospital - 10 days later. The abscess is all gone, and they also removed most of the affect intestine - all 12 inches of it. I have this totally awesome looking scar through my belly, too - it's about 6 inches long with 15 staples in it right now... Ok - that's enough with the gory details. Ugh, so my stomach has been hurting just a ton lately. None of the meds seem to be helping with the Crohn's so I'm pretty much in constant pain over here, and trying to get an appointment with the doctor is like trying to pull teeth, so I'm pretty much just eating what I can to try to keep the pain down.
