California fires

Just wanted to let everyone know I'm okay. The LA fires aren't near me and would have to burn through several big suburbs before getting here. The light is an eerie orange color, and in the past hour the smoke has moved to cover the mountains (not that different from the normal smog, I guess). If I can get the colors to work out, I'll post some

Yeah, it's sorta the big conversation topic here now. We're in no danger, but alums from San Diego are staying here and athletic activities are being cancelled because of the smoke, so it's creepily close-by.

I'm worried about some friends of mine that live over there...I'm not sure where they are, but I hope they're okay!

Very few people have died or been injured, so they're probably okay. A lot of houses outside of the big cities, on the other hand, not so much. :(
