Still in Charlotte, NC, sillypants! I have a full-time library job now, so that's not likely to be changing any time soon, unless...something bad happens, heh...
IT WAS GOOD, I REALLY HOPE YOU LIKE IT. 8D The only thing was...I felt like I wanted something more all throughout it, and the feeling was bothering me...so I read a few reviews when I got home, and I finally figured out what that niggling feeling was. It was the fact that this movie...was the Spidey origin story again. I mean, it had to be for several reasons, and certain key things were changed from the other movies, so I understood the need for it, but subconsciously I didn't really want to see Peter learning to be Spidey, I wanted to see him BEING Spidey. And now that I know what was bugging me about it, I think I'll enjoy it more when I see it a second time. :]
Aww, but it's a reboot so it's a TOTALLY new animal. D: No more goofy Tobey Maguire dancing down the street like a doof, etc. (There was a little bit of almost LITERAL narm though, since...it's the Lizard and Dr. Connors is an amputee and...lol I'm sure you can follow...)
Fffff I need a movie buddy, you need a movie buddy, WHY IS UTAH SO FAR AWAY. 8[ I mean, my brother and dad are my only real movie buddies around here, at least when it comes to anything sci-fi/fantasy (i.e. ANYTHING GOOD), and even then they don't always want to go see the things I want to see. :[ My brother was REALLY unenthusiastic about going to this one, at least to the midnight showing, all meeeeeh iunno if I wanna go...mmmmnnn iunnooooo but I was finally just like, "Kid, it's a free movie for you, are you freakin' kiddin' me?" 'B| And seen that way, he relented and went along fairly willingly, lol.
TL;DR I HOPE YOU CONVINCE YOUR FRIENDS AND GET TO GO it was quite fun and I want to see it againnnnnn <3
