so I think it's pretty impressive that we sold the golf Friday/started looking for a car then and i already have a new (to us) car out in the driveway. I'm happy.

my friend Stevie called a few hours ago asking if we knew anybody who had a room available. I called her back after talking to Simon real quick, and told her she could stay here. I haven't really hung out with her in a year and a half, but we've kept in touch. She's one of the most reasonable people I know. And I used to hang out with her every ( Read more... )

Simon doesn't have much on his agenda today, so I told him he should have a father daughter day. meaning - give the wife one day to get all her crap done. his response - "really?". and what are we doing? I am in the living room watching Abby. He is in our room playing playstation.

our roommate is probably moving out when this month is up. I don't think he's spent the night here a single time in at least three weeks, so I can't say it's unexpected. he's not 100% positive yet, but I don't see him staying ( Read more... )

annd the countdown has begun. will be in Jacksonville four weeks from today.

'bama is going well. it's real nice to get away, to be honest. the property up here is pretty amazing. there is a huge, gorgeous lake. now, i may live in lakeland... but we sure don't have anything like this. our lakes are surrounded by houses and buildings and city. up here it's just... peaceful.
