I'm thinking the Sam Elliott might make a good Roland. He has the dry wit and delivery for it.
I'll also submit Steve Buschimi (sp?) to the list for Eddie. I realize that Eddie is supposed to be in his early 20's, but time is funny over on Roland's side.
Kevin Spacey would rawk as the Man in Black.

Sam Elliott was in Ghostrider, We Were Soldiers, The Big Lebowski, Tombstone, The Quick and the Dead (the first one), and a few other westerns. He's a bit grizzled, but so is Roland.
