Stop talking about comic books or I'll kill you

Stiles is sitting in his room, engaged in a heated gunfight on his XBOX, yelling into his headset. His dad isn't home, so he's cursing freely, half-dressed and thinking nothing of it. He really isn't expecting anyone, besides the pizza guy.

Jackson's threatened to beat him within an inch of his life, but, been there done that. Stiles has just ( Read more... )

At this point, Lydia should pretty much own the spare key. She's taken to just picking it up and strolling into the house when she knows his father isn't home. Of course, Stiles knows where her spare key is too, but she prefers Stiles' place, especially when the Sheriff works overnights. "Stiles, it's me!" She calls, letting the door shut behind her before she turns to lock it, heading up the stairs.

It's late, her Mom just left to catch a flight and Lydia just wasn't too keen on sitting at home alone. So now she's here.

He'd give her one, but Stiles is still fairly new to having a relationship and he doesn't want to move too fast. He also doesn't want to do something to remind her too much of Jackson since they're all currently at odds.

Stiles doesn't hear Lydia call for him, too engrossed in the mission at hand, but when he hears an all-too-familiar giggle from the doorway he could have sworn his heart skipped a beat.

"SON OF A BI-" Stiles cuts off his profanity in a squeak, toppling over even though he was already sitting down. He scrambled to arrange his limbs in some semblance of normalcy, blush creeping up his neck. "Heyyyy Lydia. Hi. Was, uh...I wasn't expecting you."

"Calm down, you didn't forget to pick me up or anything." She pushes off of the door jamb, dropping her purse on his desk before crossing the room. "I was just bored at home. I sent you a text but...well." She gestures to the tv, then to his boxers before laughing a little again.

"I can see why you didn't reply." She takes a seat when she reaches the bed, obviously not against just treating Stiles' room as her own.

"...yeah." Stiles pulls the headset off quickly, blush creeping higher. He felt the urge to cover himself, though he was pretty sure that was moot since he'd helped her through a whole week of heat.

"I should...put on some pants." Stiles says, retreating to his drawer. The last thing he wanted was for Lydia to think he was a complete nerd again.
