What's up?

Well, I am as usual bored at work. The sad thing is I don't even have anything interesting on which I can update. Let's see…this weekend was FREEZING! Jay and I spent a good portion of the weekend staying warm inside. On Friday, we went to a Mexican restaurant off of Grand Ave in St Paul - La Cucaracha. Luckily no cockroaches were to be seen ( Read more... )

65 and sunny...oh how I wish I was in California! How I would love to be able to go outdoors and not immediately not freeze and where everything crunches and crackles from it being so cold.

I definitely could handle living in California!

Also, that would be great to get that book's info Dave, although, if you ever need another Italian cookbook...Betty Crocker's had some pretty good stuff in it!

What about your new place? I hear it's a pretty swinging place, except for your crazy landlord, haha. One of these nights you should come over for a night of guitar hero, and all the other madness that typically encompasses a night at the home of Waller! Bwahahaha! No really, we should definitely hang out soon!

We all DEFINITELY need to get together sometime soon. If there is an invitation to play Guitar Hero - Jay and I are both there. Our land lady is definitely a nut, but overall we are liking it pretty well at our new place. You will have to come see it soon!

Yeah, there are TONS of options for EVERYTHING!!!
It was hard to make decisions sometimes, so I limited myself to three choices only on some things. I only went to three stores for my dress, I only looked at three places for cakes, for flowers I only looked at one place because I knew where I wanted to get them from, Adam dealt with photography (of course!), so he looked at as many places as he wanted.

Its so hard because you're afraid that if you stop looking, the next place you could have looked at could have been so cheap and so good. It's hard.

Nothing is cheap, and it's horrible. The cheapest thing was the favors at the wedding ont he tables, I think, haha...and even those were over $150!

I found that not givig myself hundreds of choices left me less stressed out about it.

There are so many choices and that's a really good idea to limit yourself to three places for different things. I was actually quite lucky and fell-in-love with my dress at the first store I went to, but then checked out 2 more actually to make sure it "was the one."

But there are SO many decisions and so many things you could choose...even colors I am still flip-flopping around. The main/base color is eggplant - a deep purple, but from there I want many different colors, rather than just a 2 or 3 color combo. I am hoping that it will make things easier to choose from and less hard to match if I go that route. We will see. As for the favors...yep, I think they will probably be the "cheapest" and similarly it is right now looking to be around $150 as well for ours...although, I keep changing my mind on what I am doing.
