::At some point we have to go home::

She sat at home watching My Dog Skip because it made her cry.
And it was better to cry over a movie than her own life.
He stood in the doorway wondering why she couldn’t sit still.
She told him she loved him but he didn’t believe it.
So he slowly walked away.
And she was ok with that.
The dog died and she realized she was alone
But she never really cried
She sat in the lobby because she didn’t want to think
And it was better to be numb than think about life
He stood in the doorway wondering why she was so sad
He held her hand and made her laugh and made her forget
But he had to go home and so did she
And she was ok with that
They talked once in a while and she missed his voice
But she still didn’t cry
She sat in an empty room because she had to let go
And its better to let go than to hold on to air
He stood in the doorway wondering why he hated her
She said that there was no one else but it wasn’t true
So they both pretended to be ok
and she was ok with that
Nothing was the same and she found his picture
But she still didn’t cry
She sat at home watching Ashlee Simpson but didn’t know why
Only that it was better to hate someone other than herself
And no one was in the doorway this time
And she had to realize that he wasn’t coming back
So she had to make do with what she had
But this time she wasn’t ok with that
He made her shiver but he wasn’t there
And she missed her stranger
And she finally cried
