Oh this is gorgeous. I like your phrasing and descriptions - Kara swung her leg like a scythe, cutting him low and dropping him to the floor. And I think you've captured the way Kara's mind works very well.

Thanks so much for the feedback! I'm glad you think I got the characterization right. That's always my biggest concern.

I really enjoyed this. Your prose when describing Kara and Lee is different than what I have read before. I think my favorite line has to be "She wanted to weather the peaks and valleys with him, but miles of plateau frightened her to the core.". To me that describes the event on New Caprica so well. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you so much! Part of me feels like I really ought to have read more fic before I wrote this, but I'm so glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for letting me know. And yes, I think normalcy would frighten Kara a great deal her biggest worry was being forgotten.

Really beautiful! I loved your writing style of the piece. I hope you continue writing BSG stories. :)

Thank you so much! It's certainly something I plan to do more of, though I definitely don't know the canon anywhere as well as I do TXF. I need to do some rewatches I think.

You did it! Congrats!

Although I have zero interest in the characters, and therefore feels in no way qualified to comment on this, I did have a quick read through and your prose is as always efficient, your words depicting a layered atmosphere that digs deep under the surface of the character's pathos.

You do have a way with words darling. :)

Well, thanks very much! I'm so glad you liked it. It's a particular compliment, of course, and I have to say that while I hadn't intended to start writing again so soon, this was a nice head-clearing project. Lots of fun.

Ahem...I wouldn't go sofar as to say I liked it, but it's only because of the source material. I really don't give a crap about Kara or Lee. I was just letting you know that even outside your X-F comfort zone your writing turned out to be still excellent.

This said this is probably the first and last BSG fic I will ever read.

Beautiful, and the quotes you dropped all the way through gave it an extra poignancy. Superbly written, too.
