Sweeeet. I have to say that it's always extra gratifying when someone tells me I managed to make a situation work when they didn't think it would. I really appreciate that.
Good! Because really, Mulder(/DD), it's not that hard. Heh.
Also, I think you should know that reading and posting on your fic last night was one of the last things I was able to do before my laptop froze up due to a virus.
(Laptop is currently being doctored by the tech guys at CanIL, who know what they're doing far more than I do.)

I'm so glad you have your priorities straight. :D
That really sucks about the virus though. I hope they can get you all sorted out.
I am so grateful for this prequel - I understand what you mean about feeling guilty for writing the happy moments, as I feel guilty enough for just reading them knowing what is to come in Inhaling The Different Dawn! Maybe this universe needs to be a trilogy and some tales from the Unremarkable house would help with the de-guilting process? ;oP OK, it was a good try, but seriously the fic inbetween time universe is so much richer for having these two stories in it. And this AU universe is one I am rather fond of now... :o)
But we needed the happy times, and I just love the oh so real M&S humour, too many *snigger* bits to quote, but I enjoyed, oh so much! Thank you!
Thank you so much for this very lovely feedback. I'm quite pleased that you enjoyed it, particularly in the context of the first story, and that you feel I stayed true to their narrative even if it's AU.

And also, that is an awesome wedding scene - hilarious and loving and genuine.

And (being a native Oregonian myself) I still kind of want Scully to teach Mulder how to pronounce it correctly. Hee.
