One thing that might also be useful is that as an undergrad, you don't do exams in your second year. I'm not sure how it works, and I also think that system is ridiculous, but that's how it works. Undergraduates who get distinctions in their first year (i.e. get a First average) have their names announced in college.

You also need to wear cap, gown and sub fusc to your exams. Sub fusc for men is basically white bow tie, dinner shirt and dress pants. If you got a distinction in your first year you get to wear a different gown from the commoners' gown (yes, undergrad gowns are called commoners gowns.)

Er, that's all my ridic Oxford trivia. If you need anything more, just ask! And I'm looking forward to the fic.

How peculiar! I love all of the trivia I am picking up here, you guys. My friend who went there never mentioned all this cool stuff.

First, matching icons match! :-D

Second, Mulder sucks, because his background is so freakin' obfuscated. And the wedding band is the greatest source of enmity in fandom.

Wish I could be useful here - really looking forward to reading!

I think I stole it from you. *blush*

I go with married and annulled. I can totally see Mulder trying out marriage. But still...was it absolutely necessary to be so cutesy, Duchovny? With the ring and the stunt casting of the wife?

Your encouragement is highly useful.
