This is awesome. Your characterization is so excellent, as usual, and I loved how you took some of those old, well-worn tropes (sharing a bed, reflections on what Padgett said in general, etc.) and made them not only new again, but actually make sense for these two characters we love so much.
This was just wonderful. There was such a large load of laundry (so to speak) left unattended at the end of this episode that the PTB never dealt with (no surprise). But I have rarely ran into a fic that not only does the potential aftermath of the episode justice, but does it with such incredible spot-on characterization, extremely interesting plot, and beautiful woven together words that are just classic you. Thanks for this!
And BTW, I nearly started jumping up and down when I saw that you were back with new fic! So good to see you again, hope life has been well!! :)
Oh gosh! You know how to make someone feel welcome. Writing for these guys can be so daunting because I mean, what hasn't been covered? Especially Milagro, jeez. So it means a lot to hear that you feel this is a fresh take on it. A LOT a lot.
Life has been good. It's been an eventful year; moved from East Coast to West Coast due to my husbands job, my little started preschool out here, and I'm pregnant with #2. Busy, busy, busy!
