This is wonderful. It beautifully captures and builds upon the push-pull, aroused-terrified-fascinated actions and reactions of Bedelia in the first episode. Originally I expected Fuller to pull heavily from Clarice's story (or at least the ending of Hannibal) for Bedelia in Italy, but I've been pleasantly surprised to find that the relationship between these two is wholly different, but still equally captivating.
Thank you so much! I had similar concerns, but Bedelia is such a wonderful character. She's mysterious and so developed all at once which, as per usual, is a testament to the amazingness of Gillian's skills.
Bedelia and Hannibal are so great together. I could watch a whole season of their snarky dinners.
